TMWSIY

Frustrated with the music department at UVM, Trey transferred to Goddard College in Plainfield, VT in 1986. A year later he composed “The Man Who Stepped Into Yesterday” which would later become his senior thesis. A musical play of sorts, TMWSIY tells the story of a fictional place called “Gamehendge” through songs with Trey’s spoken word narration interspersed between. Having formed Phish a few years earlier, Mike, Page and Fish comprised the backing band for the recording and eventually went on to perform the opus live in its entirety on five occasions.
