Seven Below Arts Initiative

Reductions in public funding for the arts have dramatically minimized opportunities to advance and explore the richness of sculpture, painting, music, dance, and other artistic endeavors at all levels.

To help fill this gap, Trey has launched a new initiative to advance arts education in Vermont. Through a partnership with Burlington City Arts, the Seven Below Arts Initiative offers residency programs at The Barn, a renovated, 200-year-old property nestled in the Vermont hills that previously served as a recording studio and rehearsal space for Trey, Phish, and other musicians.

The initiative is focusing on the visual arts - specifically, sculpture, painting, and related media - as its primary area of activity. An outreach component features educational opportunities for students of all ages.
